Interestingly, TheZone.club was resold by a domain investor -- It was not a registry reserved name. We reserved very few names with "the" in it, yet we have seen other sites like "Thedrop.club" hit pretty big. Michael Berkins whose article this connects to has "Thedomains.com". Maybe I missed something? Thinking too much like a 90's guy.

Entrepreneur magazine just bought entrepreneur.club for $7500 on Sedo. A real marketplace for .CLUB names is forming. Still 2-5 percent of .com but I would say "progress is being made".

In my opinion, the only really successful ngTLD, so far. Their market strategy combined with a good extension have proven successful.

I think .Work is a winner because new registrations cost $1.99. Renewals cost only $1.99 indefinitely forever. One of the biggest complaints about nGTLDS was "there are too many premium names." Like for example .ooo premium names even go up to $60,000 / year.

.Work has some premium names, not too many. And their premium names went from $60 - $200. Very reasonable in my opinion, especially compared to others.

Other reasons .Work is a winner: It's only 4-characters. It's a common and useful word known by many with lots of different practical reasons. I am even planning to develop <my real name>.work because I feel .Work is memorable and affordable.

.Work has grown ORGANICALLY up to 24,000 registrations in only a couple months with no sort of marketing from the registry (as far as I can tell).

There are also people from many different countries who are choosing to register .Work domains. For example, it's not just Americans and not just Chinese. It seems like people globally think it's a good one. That's usually a good sign. Same thing with .Club, which has registrations from all over the world.
