Well this is good info because it gives us info that there is potential in .club but as long as only registry and registrars are making sales with their big marketing expenses there is no developed .club market.

With each registry and registrar sale, they establish a market for the remaining domains. As domains become more limited, reaching to aftermarket will become more necessary.

@Colin Campbell What's the deal with .club registry eating up all the deleted .club domains? Even the average one word domains are not available for the standard fee! Those domains were not premium back then but it looks like the registry got more greedy and wanted to sell all the domains to end-users themselves. I wanted to register a lot of one word .club domains but not anymore.

..and people who registered their domains BEFORE those price increases. This is not only happening at .CLUB, I noted it happens for lot of other gTLDs when you want to register some premium keywords at the moment. Just few months ago situation was different, and it was possible to register some really good domains for just normal price and standard renewal rate.

These average generics are waste of money in 95-99% of cases... forget them.
Only names of existent clubs have chances to be sold...

Well, I still believe in .club future and now I have 13 .club domains. I will stop here until I sell some.

After buying premium domain SANTORINI.CLUB, I have registered 6 more domains from tourism niche:
SKOPELOS.CLUB - Greek island with 49.500 monthly google searches. Known also from Mamma Mia movie.
THASSOS.CLUB - Greek island with 60.500 monthly google searches.
SKIATHOS.CLUB - Greek island with 110.000 monthly google searches.
NAVAGIO.CLUB - Famous beach (known as shipwreck beach) at Greek Zakynthos island.
VESUVIO.CLUB - Famous volcano in Italy, 74.000 monthly google searches, famous in popular culture.
KOTOR.CLUB - Famous touristic and historic place in Montenegro coast. 135.000 monthly google searches.
