Closing My Second Afternic Sale: PoliticsDiscussion.com

Just wanted to share my experience for others. I am currently in the latter stages of the sale of PoliticsDiscussion.com for $500 on Afternic.

The process has been somewhat lengthy because a Paypal eCheck mysteriously failed (it happens) and so then check by mail was the only alternative. That has since cleared and now I am waiting on an agonizingly slow from Namecheap to Godaddy transfer.

Afternic itself has been good. They've answered questions quickly, but they made the check sound like it would be clear in five days or less when it took 8 days as they told me in reply to an email question I asked.

Other than the long process which is not really anyone's fault, I've been happy again with the process.

My last two sales on Afternic took weeks. I really would like to see a more streamlined process, or at least Escrow Managers who respond to private messages promptly. Regardless, they offer some great exposure. Congrats on the sale.

I've held the name since last October, so basically 6 months because the offer was made and accepted about a month ago now.
