Hi, while the logo font and colors are Ok, the icon doesn't describe it entirely.

Thank you for inviting me!
I`ve created a simple flat logo, as you asked for, based on a balance. The upper circles of the balance represents the software(power button) and the wordpress plugin(plug in sign), and the big circle represents the base of your logo(wordpress) so your description can be seen in the logo, as you asked for.

There is too much space in the logo.

Thanks everyone for the entries, while you seem to have researched and made good designs, I am unable to choose any of these.
And I am not able to give constructive feedback on the designs because all I can tell is when I like something or whether it is the perfect choice.
I will be looking out for more ideas.
Here is something that maybe I can think of:

• A custom font or a font that is customized to the design so that it is set apart
• Use of a balance and search icon. If so please use green tick and red cross for the balance as I use it in my website.
• The Wp should be set apart from Compare on look. It doesnt matter whether capitalized or different colored or differently designed.
• Can you show them in mockups of a website in the header and footer?

The first one is better, can you make it using green and red flat colors and can you show it with different fonts?
Those that stand out and look good with the icon

The icon "WP" looks great, Can you put it in place of Wp in the text and come up with some other icon?
