Click thru frustration -- A rant

I have a .co.in at Sedo which has 99 uniques right now and zero clicks. It has been there a number of months without a single click. I have tried various keywords and nothing seems to work. Nearly all my .co.in/.in have at least a few clicks but this one nada.

Very specific name -- AsiaTravel_co_in -- current keywords = the name words + vacation. The links on the parking page are very general. Could it be that Asian Travel is just not a big thing?

Interesting question. Assuming the traffic is Indian in origin, perhaps asian travel doesnt figure high on their radar. Perhaps add India into the keyword mix, travel agent also. Adventure, tours (just brainstorming a bit), perhaps you've already been there. I think what I'm trying to say is, if a local owned the domain, how would they be using it? Who would they be trying to attract? Dont know if this will help, anyway, best of luck with it.

September was so much better...

That's very odd for a name to have so many uniques and not a single clickthrough,I would request the fab team set up your name if you already haven't,I had the same problem with one of my names at fabulous and requested monetization from the team,The results turned around for me,A decent ctr.But i sure know how you feel,Seeing so many uniques and no ct,Once they monetized and set my landing page up on fab 4.0,The results were much better

Thanks for the ideas -- a couple things I hadn't tought of. I doubt adventure tours would work cause I own that name with only a few uniques.

I haven't enough 'good' names to try fab & they have always turned me down when asking to accept a few.

My co.in/.in, both uniques and clicks have gone up dramatically this month.

Yes, this has been my worst month on Sedo, Domains with Uniques that normally convert just did not convert this month.

This has been my best month in revenue yet (this year) almost double of previous month - I'm happy although my 2 .co.in did'nt do anything to help !

Would you say in general that winters are better for PPC ? I'm pretty new to parking domains.

Now uniques = 162 and clicks = 0.

Does that mean everyone here is checking my story out?

I feel sedo is quite a reputatable company, I doubt they would do that.

I believe they are earning alot from the domain sales alone. (10% charge.)

Why should they do this when they pay such small per click.

I have another name there which gets around 100 uniques/month and a click through of about 47% (over the last 6 months) paying about $0.10/click.

Top Oveture bids for the primary keywords on this one run from about $1.00 to something over $2.00. Granted Sedo uses Google but it still seems that they are giving us just a little dribble. But I guess while frustrating it is still better than nothing.

Just took quick look and some of the Overture top bid sites are listed on the Sedo parking page.

When I checked out this thread earlier, I did click on a link on the landing page.
If it didn't show up, you might have sedo-issues. (i'm from the us, us ip, etc. no reason not to count it)
