City Directory Categories

Hope this is right section?

Anyhow, need some help, need to populate a city directory with categories.
Anyone know of a main basic list that would cover most things. Not looking to cover every possibility, just main categories as you can have sub categories off.

So i was looking for like:

Airlines
Art
Banks
Builders

sort of thing. any tips or lists greedily received and rep will be sprayed around

Look in any city yellow pages and select the ones that have the most entries.

excuse the unedited list, but this comes out with some off the shelf software for portals. includes categories and subcategories, i've guessed some of the main ones in bold. (eg. major car models if you have a classifieds -> autos section), might be good for brainstorming what suits your community.
there's still holes in here though - also good to have categories that have a high CPC - doctors, lawyers, university stuff, etc.

Just browse around other city sites, denver.com was the first one that I tried off the top of my head and they have a pretty good list in the left column.
