Is it a somewhat good estimate that
chinese LLLL.com premiums are at at least $1billion value today?
Unlike Number .coms chinese premium LLLL.com boomed in value in a very short period.
Will they hold their value or is it the biggest BUBBLE ever seen in domains?

Share your thoughts please

I think $2k is going to be the minimum for a decent "CHIP" and most likely it will be $3k-$5k by next year. %%-

Keep in mind that a lot of people are taking the week off. ;)

Is that based historically, on Western domaining's valuation?

I wonder if China's valuation is different.

Based on price movements- past and current: which are both recent anyway.

China's valuation... they are called "4L.NET Chips" after all :)

If you're in it to make money in three weeks you deserve to lose money.
Hope that was just a "knee-jerk", because it's just a really horrible thing to wish on anyone.

Also I bought a domain via godaddy.com on nov 14th jjnx.com $2195, the seller huge domains refused to transfer it, godaddy said they can't make them either. Paid for, and checked out, got my refund today after godaddy would not enforce sale. Guess it sorta worked out in the end. I also bought a premium here on namepros for $1800 about 8 days ago, could have sold at $2500, was naive, today I am break even on it, after losing $700 upside.
You should raise a stink on that, at least name and shame Huge Domains if they're in fact not following through/pulling stunts like you say.

Glad to hear there was an upside for you.

But, why are you talking about "losing" $700? Within about a week? You haven't lost anything IMO. I don't understand why so many domainers expect instant gratification. It doesn't generally work that way.

I took it to Paul Nicks, he said it was a price glitch, even though it was a live BIN, and I checked out, and paid. The only issue came when it was time to transfer the domain huge domains wouldn't.

I asked for proof, and such none was given.

Paul Nicks said he can't make them transfer the domain if they don't want to. At which point I said if it was anyone else they would be suspended, but huge domains makes them large commissions, so whatever.

I explained to him I felt the platform
did not do enough to protect the integrity of the transaction, I explained I felt it was a breach of contract.

All they say is read our TOS, which basically has an out for every imaginable scenario.

When I was looking to purchase so called chips, many names were under the ownership of ename users, which would show many auction listings were not being removed, or revalidated. I made the choice to purchase after I found a listing under the control of the current owner.

Reminds me of something. I found a 4L com Chip at GoDaddy with an insane BIN price just 2 days ago. Clicked it, went to checkout and it gave me some weird message "to purchase call" such and such number and to mention reference #141. I quickly called (this was late night) and CS guy had absolutely no idea what I was talking about. Of course the domain was no longer listed. Very bizarre experience but also it p*ssed me off as it was a complete waste of my time.

I got a little worried even. Because prices went up to much. But looks like they fall now.

Don`t get me wrong, I donยดt belive they will fall under $1000, that would be a miracle. But $1500 range the prices could stay.
But the floor of $3000 is far far away. (years min 5).
The problem is price and there are too many of those 4 letters. Like I said before.

And I still say, who didn`t get out on prices $2500+ has lost for this time, It can take years to get to this levels again.

I actually worked on Sunday, 4 hours or so. I got lucky with two four letter Chip .com-s. One for $350 and other for $499. One is nice with double letters even.
I found a lot under $3000 for sale. even found some at prices $2000. But this ones I would not touch in this moment.

Hmmm godaddy auctions for Chips are looking steady still, but then again some are quad premiums/double letter and chips. I don't mind just holding till the holidays are over or better yet till next year.

There's a huge crash going on in a number of areas, but right now 4l.net chips are simply getting dumped.
They are at around 1200 RMB now and dropping like a stone.

4l.com chips are thus far remarkably resilient at around 13000 RMB give or take for now.
It is across the board the declines, same with 5n.com/6n.coms/4l.cn etc.

Volumes for 4l.com chips are up quite a lot now, so in the long run could be a good sign. For 4l.com chip holders (myself included) the prices there are actually holding remarkably well for now.

I think this decline will stop soon but there's a lot going on right now.

12,000 RNB LLLL.com today!

I wish this was like a normal financial exchange and I could just put in a buy order at $1400 right now.

Not quite there yet, chaomi shows it caround 13000 RMB for now.
However, it may go there soon. Great buying opportunity right now IMO.

There were two sales at 12,000 (lznx.com and nlqz.com).

EDIT: 3. rslb.com too.

Yeah but most are still above that.
Right now it looks more than likely they will go to around that floor level.

I hope you're being on ironic, as you're posting this on a forum of people mass registering .biz domains.

Why panic?
So many "reasons" of crash given on last few pages of this thread, but no one mentioned the real reason.

I am sure this might be the best reason: http://www.wsj.com/articles/china-police-reveal-busted-illegal-banking-operation-1448030259

No big deal, not first time either: http://www.chinadaily.com.cn/china/2014-11/14/content_18916772.htm

It looks like their authorities like November for taking actions :)

160000 CHIPS (LLLL.coms) at $3000 each are worth only $480 million USD. Average rich-man in China could purchase them all at this price. Now when domains get in focus of China investors, it is just a matter of time when price will go above $3000. That might be next week, or next year, but it is a sure thing.
