Is it a somewhat good estimate that
chinese LLLL.com premiums are at at least $1billion value today?
Unlike Number .coms chinese premium LLLL.com boomed in value in a very short period.
Will they hold their value or is it the biggest BUBBLE ever seen in domains?

Share your thoughts please

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

There are a few handfulls of HUGE investors (with unlimited funds) that have purchased thousands upon thousands of these LLLL.com chips, each.
Whilst the demand keeps increasing for these types of domains, their plan is to simply HOLD, withdrawing supply - keeping prices at a premium. This is a logical move as flooding the market constantly, would come closer to satisfying the demand, causing prices to boomerang.

Are they using cash or borrowed funds?

Reg fees may not be an issue for these people but if they have borrowed the money then the repayment on the loans could cause issues.

I don't mind. That's what we're all here for, right? To share our experiences and to learn from and support one another?

QGYM(.)com

I get more offers for this one than any other LLLL.com.

I know that's the name of a very popular gym in Qatar and it's CP, but still... this is madness.

I doubt that it will come to fruition, but who knows in this market? Hehe.

One of his emails (there have been several) said that many of his friends had a "crush" on the name. :-$

Did it say something like;

"brother: hello, I am a broker small west,
there are a lot of friends have a crush on your domain name,
if sell you please leave your contact details or reply to me,
we can further conversation, thank you!"

I get a lot of those. It's one of their (poorly translated) templates that they mass e-mail to LLLL.com owners.

Not sure - I haven't asked any of them.

The prices run too fast, there are a lot of gaps in the chart. If you interested in stock market. Gaps are not good and prices will drop to stabilizate that gap.

I really want that no stop on rising because I've some, but there will be a drop on prices. I don't know when, but it will.

If a drop ocurs for gap, I don't think it will be a hard drop. It will drop than it will rise again.

Only my thoughts, not an expert...

I sense that some people here are going to be kicking their pets (or worse) if these get to $5,000.

On 2nd thought, they're probably already doing that.

I think this is just the beginning.
Once prices get nearer towards unreachable levels to the average player,
it would start to plateau and spill over to other extensions.
Which could be what we're getting a glimpse of now with .net

Only 108 CP domains left on Godaddy with BIN < $3000

What I don't understand is if domain owners keep getting offers of 3K+ for CPs, why they keep selling them on GD auction knowing that they'll lose 20% on such a liquid asset?
Even if they sell there at $3000, they'll get only $2,400.

I don't think anyone is getting serious $3000 offers for random CP's yet.

Probably who sell on auction site have bought his domain at lower price like 1k or around (could be 1 month and a half ago) .
When I sell to auction I think also to the fee. I think on forums like name pros you can't get 3k for random Chips..

It is not a case of wanting prices - it is simply patiently letting the upward trend run it's course until the stabalizing point. Chinese premium LLL.com's are selling on new levels and this is one of the MANY factors that is helping bringing up the prices of LLLL.com's
What is the floor now for LLL.com chips?

So I put TGGP.COM and RLTT.com into Flippa auction just to gauge interest - bidding is now at 2k with 4 days left. Ok, it's still early but that seems off to me. Do Chinese investors not know of Flippa? I should prob try 4CN instead..

With 4 days left, you should get between 2,8K and 3,5K.

Thanks for that estimate, not sure it will hit the reserves we set but I put some faith in my broker. He knows what he's doing so may get a little more after the auction.
