chinese LLLL.com premiums are at at least $1billion value today?
Unlike Number .coms chinese premium LLLL.com boomed in value in a very short period.
Will they hold their value or is it the biggest BUBBLE ever seen in domains?

I've been getting slightly higher offers from Chinese Buyers recently as well (as high as 9,000 RMB). All in my spam folder...All occurred during this week too. . Interesting.

I can see LLLL approach $2.5K-$3K possibly by end of Nov. Not sure if it will continue to climb after that.

Based on a LLL.com floor price of $50k - for any LLL.com - LLLL.com are very undervalued. What we're seeing today is a market correction. But it still has a long way to go to find the right balance with LLL.com. Unless 3L come down, 4L need to go up.

My friend domain name is biggest asset if you ever do business and run any e-commerce site you will understood the value of domain name, we are not talking about 10 char name here.
The trend is reversing first it started with keyword then it moved to brand name and now all startup want short name because it is easy to market , its not something new, yes the price is jumping very quickly not at normal rate that thanks to chinese wherever they dump money they try to control the market.
I scanned all 4l.com(chips) and 5N.com domain name file and majority(my eyes say 90%) registered by chinese, now you think all this 90% going to burn their money , what kind of logic is that, they must have something in their head???
Chinese love to hold the name which creating market shortage so it would be very hard for western companies to get back something in 3l or 4l.com at normal prices because Chinese will not sale for cheap in next 10 year because it going to cost them only $10 each year, which is very cheap compare to other asset maintenance cost like real estate or other products.

Other culture pattern of investment what i have notice is when they buy they all buy or dump money in one particular area or category like Newyork or London or San Francisco real estate market they never go out of it even next near by city real estate is cheap, in domain market they doing same they have bought all 4n.com and 5n.com of course they only going to sale in their country or to their companies but now they focusing on global so started buying out 3l and 4l, since last one year now they almost controlling this category they not going to leave it believe me same like 4n and 5n category.

After this buy out now new domineers join everyday and they feel they not able to touch 4n or 5n or 3l and 4l so they started buying 6n and 7n and so the craze is in front of us, again all non chinese premium 4l would be easily going to reach 1k once the newbie feel they not able to touch the 3k or 5k range so if you have bought at cheap just don't jump out of ship wait you not going to loose anything even market fall , patients is the key in this industry.

I wish my word help someone in 4l.com category and of course correct me if i have wrote anything crazy here.

35% increases like chaomi.cc shows will not happen often and some dips are bound to occur.

However, the overall trend seems to be very much up for some time to come IMO.

You right but compare to 4N and 5N it seem to me 4L is very cheap for them , plus number domain has only china market vs 4L has whole world market, now their economy is down and hence the government focusing to make market more free for global investment so more collaboration between companies which is good for domain industry.

From 4 letter.com -s you sell 1% a year tops to end user.I actually sold 0,5% in year.2013/2014/2015
I have not shitty ones.
Now if you invest $1500 into each and buy 100. And if this madness here is over, you are screwed. Liquidity is gone. You can never justify the investment price!

The Chinese clearly have no idea what they are doing. Think about it. You buy 4 letter .nets for $200 each as investment. I mean what is going on in your head? Do you really think that this 1.4 billion people gone need all the short domains?

In China the economy is not groving as fast as they hoped. How they will create new companys?

One guy in other thread said that he registered 100 4 letter .net-s in 2007, they where very nice looking. AAAB etc.. Not the shit guys register now. And he renewed them for 3 years and got 0 intrest. Yes thats ZERO!!.

We understand your logic what you saying but you should understand market demand and supply rules too, tell me since how many years they holding this 4N.com and 5N.com market who in the world want number domain except chinese, compare to them premium chinese 4L is very less with big market infront of them.
Forgot about past think in future we all know one day may be it going to crash but current market investment and trend has not rich yet at crash level may be in next 5 or 10 year for sure it will crash and then you and me all will buy again without any mistakes.

Yeah, prices are growing so rapidly and we can say too rapidly. It seem that the Chinese madness also affected many other people.
In the end probably, only the names that really mean something to an enduser will keep their value (probably a very low low % compared the amount of names traded in this period ).

I'm also sure if domains will continue To be traded like a currency, governments will surely put some tax in order to control and earn from this new way to make money. This will affect negatively the prices..

However, nowadays, fact are that prices are rising and it is possible to make money so let's play this game keeping an eye to our pocket because if we get caught by the frenzy we may bid what we can't afford to lose. When the game will stop I'm sure lot of people will cry..

I am with you, that currently there is nice money to be made.

But long run it will collapse. Also if you look at prices for Chinese premium -
total 160000 domains, or all other 4 letter .com-s 456976.
Non Chinese premiums then something like 300000, why are prices soo low? reseller prices? not so many idots buying? simply they are not worth as much? Or dose Europe/US/Etc know that they are not worth that much.

Dose someone really think that Chinese know the real value? Or simple hype

others $300 -$400, not much more.
Even if China has 1.4 billion people
other world 6 billion people
