Chinese LLLL.com bubble!?

Is it a somewhat good estimate that
chinese LLLL.com premiums are at at least $1billion value today?
Unlike Number .coms chinese premium LLLL.com boomed in value in a very short period.
Will they hold their value or is it the biggest BUBBLE ever seen in domains?

It is simply amazing how prices climb.
Next Friday, there will be no chinese premium available below 2K.

It can't continue forever. This price growth is not sustainable.
Someone will be left holding the bag.

I think it will stop when they reach 5K. The buyers are everywhere so it won't stop until that point IMO.

But that is just the Chinese Premium. All the "weak" 4L don't have much increase in value... a small 5-10% in the last 2 weeks... while Chinese went up 100-150% in the last 2 weeks.

Even at 2K, not talking about 5K reseller price it's already a game of it's own and not justified by end-user price.
If reseller targeting 1000% ROI, then end-user must pay 20-50K per domain.
@DotCN here sold more than 100 of them to Chinese end users and I think his average price was 2-5K, not 20-50K.

May be LLLL.com becoming new bitcoins in China, but we all know that it's a bubble and correction is coming sooner or later. Bitcoin once was trading at $800-1000 per, today it's price 4 times less at $236, and much more support for it, just less hype.
When hype and smoke will settle the'll someone left holding that empty bag, who bought at 2K.

There doesn't have to be empty bags anywhere. I'm not one of the "we" you spoke of that thinks this is a bubble. There are rich people buying and stockpiling Chips now. The price can simply plateau like LLL.com have. These are not tulips or bitcoins, these are unique individual assets, any one of which can be adopted for development at any time.

About 6 months ago I happened across a guy trying to raise some quick cashby offering some of his domains for sale, with two llll.com's among them. He was asking $40 or $50 a piece I think; I offered him $42 in bitcoin (at the time) for the pair: thvx.com & uzhm.com. Was pleasantly surprised when he accepted without countering. Lucky.

6 months ago was March, I remember buying 1 domain on eBay for $27 and the other at the forum for $25, too bad that I just bought 2 at that time..
Many others were sold at eBay for $23-35 a piece. For $42 you could get 90% of eBay LLLL.com inventory.

You kidding me is that was price six month ago , then this is really a bubble.I must flip all of them on sedo.
Only Chinese Premium holding value and rising all non-premium way higher average floor price seem to be $160 now

2L are selling for 6/7-digits
3L are selling for 5/6-digits
4L are now selling for 3/4/5-digit .. cheapest is now slowy going up in the 3 digits ($120+)
5L ? Is there a futur for random 5L to someday start selling for 2/3 digits too?
Are we going to hear things like [5L Chinese Premium] in 1 year from now?

I'm not arguing that you're wrong. I'm just saying that if there's a reason to be optimistic about the resale value of these domains, I'm unable to find it. I looked up the sales history of LLLL Chinese premiums, and only found 20 on the record that were over $10k. That's 20 out of 160,000 and most of them were NOT purchased as Chinese premiums, they just happened to be Chinese premiums in addition to something else. Here's the break down of sales over $10k:
