We did not do enough to consider what this name would mean to the communities in Chinatowns across the world and we need to take ownership of this mistake,” it explained. “It’s time to do the right thing and we are committed to being a part of the change.”

They have launched a new website. However, the domain name is horrible: marketmarketmarket.com

Ironically, MarketMarketMarketMarket.com (4 "Market") and MarketMarketMarketMarketMarket.com (5 "Market") were also registered on the same date (August 3)

Actually, I think an inquiry on my buyChinatown.com was from Chinatown Market. Contacted CEO. no reply.

If you can’t buy Chinatown.com then BuyChinatown.com is a good call to action alternative.

in the end these end users feel their “creativity” is “good enough” but ultimately it’s ooglie.

They should also buy MarketMarket.com to complete this awful rebrand. Trying to rebrand by hand registering a triple word isn't the smartest move on the planet. IMHO.

Are they going to donate their awful ChinatownMarket.com to the Asian-Americans and Pacific Islanders across the world? Probably not
