I have noticed some users here in NamePros from China.. great to see you friends!

I would like to learn more about Dot Mobi in the country of 1.35 billion people

I heard China is the second largest Dot Mobi country registerer in the world; and, Dot Mobi has set up offices there and must be working hard..

If DotMobi is sanctioned by the China government alone.. with 1/5 human beings in this socialist democratic economy.. then DotMobi doesn't rely on America's pace for global adoption and notoriety?

Since the dollar is not easily converted with the Chinese currency, then all that borderline battle can be overstepped to a new, virtual global economy standard driven by mobile phone traffic by the masses?

..Here's what I noticed.. Wei Wei is the superstar! DotMobi gets her to be the world icon for DotMobi! Great.. looking really really forward to the Olympics! So why is weiwei.mobi pointing still to http://www.mobileportal.se/xhtml.aspx?si=weiwei ?

(not a .com, china already has a .com.cn :red:)

Why is there no WeiWei.mobi stand alone sight? Is this a simple technician overlook.. or is there a greater battle going on for power.. and who gets what.. under the table, over the table and I'll take the table?

Or, does someone just need to email the webmaster of a simple correction that DotMobi is advertising WeiWei.mobi not http://www.mobileportal.se/xhtml.aspx?si=weiwei?

What's going on here.. Same as other companies starving the Dot Mobi intentionally? Like why is a "backer" not using Google.mobi yet? :|

All I know is "I don't know".. so just raising questions.. to further this game in my mind..

Is this pace for the biggest bang for the buck? Slowplaying it like poker? Finding strength in the silence of fact that almost no one knows about Dot Mobi (so you can conquer armies before the war even starts) - like you were able to go back in time, and start all over again and perfect a voyage for the New World Spices like Ferdinand Magellan?

Hey I'm down, that's great.. If you do the math, there are some very big people now here in the NamePros Forum (who just have to realize what's going on and who they are now).. DotMobi.

Hold On Friends!

Kind Regards,

Yelo

.mobi is going slow in China, bacause,
1. China mobile does not promote mobi. China mobile could determine the future of .mobi in China(it looks like it doesn't like mobi, though it got many mobi domains for itself).
2. No big .mobi site in China at present. Most of big companies do not own their .mobi domains, because they were registered by domainers (many with fake TMs).
3. Companies don't care about mobi until it has to.

I don't know any sales over $500 occured in China.

I agree with Frank's view on .mobi in China. It is for sure that China will not lead the world in adopting .mobi. There is almost no competion in China's mobile market, so there is no incentive for ChinaMobile to develop new products and services and open up its walled garden.

Would it be a joke about the USA or China? Yelo is so cryptic and always mysterious... I'm guessing he means that the American buck goes along ways in China and so they don't like paying much for domains?

Okay I'm an idiot. Well, at least I tried to understand him
