Instead of paying 0,30 dollar less, stick to a reliable registrar where you may pay more (but what is that half dollar worth ?) but where you have no worries on constant basis. I would go with Moniker for gTLD's. Only ccTLD's are often better to be bought with local registrars (often much cheaper) but for gTLD's like .info I would stick to the reliable ones and not care about paying half a dollar more than on a specific other lesser-know place.
