Cheapest place for .net

Hello,

I discovered today that Moniker raised their prices to resellers from 5.49 to 6.95 for .net names.

Dang it

Is there any places cheaper for .net?

It probably has to do with ICANN lifting price caps on .net domains effective after December 31, 2006. Verisign has probably raised it to $6.00 to match .com

That really sucks that Moniker raised the price. I was planning on getting a bunch of .net's and from them.

I tihnk you need to be on their premium program. I signed up with quite a few domains and it is $4.XX for me at the moment there for a .net

To be eligible for a "Monetization" account, (previously called "Wholesale account) you must have at least 50 domains that meet the requirements for our Premium program. Of cause we are lenient depending on the quality of domains.

The Moniker account isn't a reseller. I don't think they offer reseller accounts.
