Network solutions HAD $1.99 for multiple domains some time ago. Now that was a deal, but only if yo transfer out on time.D-:

The solution is to transfer out after a month, so you won't need to worry about forgetting it close to renewal time. I'm not sure why transferring out early, is a big issue to many people. The remaining time in your domain would be credited by your transfer registrar anyway, so it's not like you are going to be shortchanged if you transfer out as soon as the transfer lock is lifted.

I've done it many times over and over again in the past. I've never been charged the full 34 bucks renewal. But i guess so many people still keep forgetting about renewal dates, that's why these 1.99 promos are still a moneymaker for these registrars.

name.com offers, also my transfers are taked max 2 hours (different times)...but they are wanting $10 for next years..if you have lot of domains and if you dont want to put all eggs to same basket, it can be a good choice... and moniker.com have cheap offers time to time, they are stable, name.com not seems stable, but cheap registrar...also namecheap.com is good, stable , they gives special prices for old members(if you have over 300 domains there) (RicoShay do not like to this post, great.. but i did not wrote this for you, I wrote for new domainers)

Name.com is a lot more stable than Moniker, in my experience. Moniker has been going downhill for the last few years.

$10 renewal at Name.com is fair, IMHO, because I use their NaemSafe security features that require a PIN from a hardware security fob.

Namecheap offers GOLDDEAL for accounts with 50+ domains.

Cool how does one get a fob?

As for Moniker - my main beef with them these days is ALWAYS having to contact support to have them remove "internal" locks on my domains, whenever I want to transfer something out. The "Transfer Domains Out" function always results in an email with an error message for me.

you can order one here: http://www.name.com/services/namesafe There's a small cost for the keyfob, but no yearly fees or anything. You can use a free android app if you don't want to buy a key fob, or I just use my paypal key fob with it and it works great.

$10 for a renewal at name.com is slighly higher but well worth it for the added key fob security. Plus coupons get that price down, and free privacy is another benefit that makes name.com a great registrar IMHO.

transfer out always used to work for me, but lately they've been having problems unlocking domains. Seems the problem was moniker had communications problems and couldn't contact the back-end registry.

Maybe you are right, I am checking webhosting(*)info ,weekly..and seems all registrars are going down..From my old experience, i cant put my all money to same registrar (I lost money and 10 years at the past) I cant afford any lost again, I dont know, i have putted all eggs to different baskets, if all baskets are go to down, one day...and if Name down "namesafe" cant work, are you know any insurance company for domains?
