Cheap .cc domains

Hi,

I am considering to register a .cc domain, but Namecheap charges almost US$ 30 per year which is a bit much. The cheapest I found is GoDaddy with US$ 20.

Does anybody know one which costs less?

moniker certainly works out cheaper if you want a whoisguard. GD is worth having if you are registering 4 .cc names and using the $20 off $75 coupon when it is available.

Thanks but how would I would I go about to find such a reseller and what would you consider as asking nicely? I couldnt imagine a "Its $15 - okay I'll pay you $5 - lets make it $12 - what about $7 - $10 okay - okay" scene with a registrar.

I am wary of GD and WWD. I always found their support rather insufficient, which I'd find more of an issue than paying 4 $ more somewhere else. If Moniker has a good price, go for it, they're secure and have an extremely fast support.

There is also something about a US$ 1 WhoIs Privacy mentioned in the second link, but when I tried to register a domain a price of US$ 4 was shown.
