Quick Question - cc domains

Does anyone know if all 3-letter .cc domains are registered? If they are, please show me where you got your info from.

As an update, I found this site:
http://www.globedomains.com/?cat=8
which posted that, as of a few months ago, there were still quite a few LLL .cc names unregistered.
Does anyone have an update on how many are left?

One year ago today there were 9455 available out of 17,576.
One month ago today there were 9777 available.
Today, there are 9514.

It's been steadily fluctuating b/n 8k and 11k for the past 2 years or so. I can't quite figure out what causes the buy-ups every now and then, but it hasn't quite broken the plateu as of yet.

What's the significance of acquiring .cc domains? It seems a lot of people are getting them. Who is the best registrar for registering the domains?

Also, .ws means "website", what can we say about .cc?

Is Cocos Islands a good place to retire? Or get rich? Or both?

Search the site for endless discussions on the pros and cons of .cc's, but in short:

.ws means "website" like "not tonight honey" means "I Love You"

.cc means very little other than being memorable and managed by verisign

.cc has had some decent sales, and some decent developments[.url] but will NOT be the next .com (Nor will .ws)

.cc are somewhat affordable (At least compared to most other ccTLD's) at around $20 at different registrars, GoDaddy.com being the .cc prefferred locale.
