Changing name servers...

I am having problems changing name servers on one of my domain.

First, I changed name servers from sedo to zoneedit.com. Instead of the name servers zoneedit, it was changed to valueweb.net.

Then, not knowing what to do, I changed the name servers back to Sedo. Instead of the name servers being SEDO, it is now bestdomainparking.com.

What could be causing this random name servers assignment?

One thing I did was set up Web forwarding on Zoneedit to point to my internet IP address.
Could this be the reason?

Well, you need to make sure the IP address matches the URL when setting up the name servers... can you explain your situation a little more?

Not sure if I understand your question correctly, but using the web forwarding at Zoneedit doesnt mean a change of nameservers. It uses the same name servers given by Zoneedit when you added a zone for the domain the first time there.

When I first registered techbytes.info, I parked it on SEDO so I had it pointing to SEDO name servers.

Now, I went into my goddady account management and changed the name servers to point to zoneedit. When I PING techbytes.info, I get the IP for bestdomainparking.com.

Anyway, I just ping my domain again and now it's pointing to the right place. Guess it took some time for this to happen.

Sorry for the confusion and thanks for the replies.
