You may know this already, but Sedo does not charge it's usual 50/100$ commision if you park with them. However, this offer only applies to US and Canada, so anyone outside could theoretically end up owing Sedo money if you sell too low. Anyway i asked if i should remove my low-cost domains to which they replied:

Hello, no you should not remove your domain names, in the new year we are looking to introduce this offer to all of our customers. I must advise that the you should use the commission rate to ensure that you do not sell the domain name for less than this. It can be used as an indication to how much a specific domains are worth.
Can only be a good thing (i think!).

What is that 50/100? Sorry, never used Sedo before so I don't know anything about how their commission works.

Flora.

If you park your domains at www.Sedo.com, and you sell a domain, it's a flat 10% fee. So, a $100 domain sold, it's $10 to Sedo.

If you don't park your domains there, it's a 10% fee, but with a $50 minimum. So a domain sold for $200, it's a $50 fee.

If you don't park your domains there, and it's a .co.uk, or .fr, it's 10%, and a
$100 minimum . So a .co.uk, sold for $300, it' a $100 fee.

I think I got it right..... D-:

So if I sold a domain for $40, did not have any parking in sedo, I don't have to pay any fees?

well, i believe this will help those who have less "atractive" domains....

seems to me that someone there on sedo saw that most of their clients who have parked domains to them moved to another parking service
all this because click rate is very very low.... .... :|

The minimum fee would be $50 so you would get $0 unless you sold for over $50.
