Hello Everyone,

To remove the clutter and keep .CH domainers together, I feel it's better to have one thread rather than a bunch. So NNNN and LLL will be closed. Currently there are:

0 NNN for hand reg

1380 LLL for hand reg

6992 NNNN for hand reg(when I last checked a while ago).

I found what appears to be the correct answers, and if anyone can confirm from experience that would be super!

1] CH does not expire until the end of the month of registry, so you get bonus time, is that correct?

My registration was 4 January and showing expiration 31 January

2] According to NameCheap (below) there is a 12 day minimum, so are they counting from 31 January or from 4 January? I would guess 31 January

3] According to DomainMonster (below) when I do renew will the new expiry date be 31 January from now on?

NameCheap - All .ch domains MUST be renewed a minimum of 12 days prior to the expiration date. Anything not renewed by this time will go into a redemption status and, if recoverable, will include an extra fee for recovery.

DomainMonster - Renewals for .ch web addresses may only be carried out when the domain has 6 months or less before it expires. Renewing the domain adds 1 year on to the current expiry date.

Most of them are chips with double or repeat letters (ABB, ABA). So, is it a good opportunity or should I better focus on non chips?

Any market for NNNN with good paterns (AABB, ABAB, ABBA)?
I only found one sale on Namebio.

You might need to plan on long term hold. I believe in LLL.ch but they are not liquid right now. Hard to say if you should buy them. I will say that when they sell, the prices are good.

I'd add to what was said that if you do but LLL.ch I'd buy only something like one we own IAY.ch " I adore you" or WTF.ch etc Good luck
