ccTLD discussion

Hi, correct me if i am wrong but there is no subform for ccTLD discussions, right? All i access is a place to buy and sell ccTLDs here at NP. I think this would benefit many members, and also me.

This is just the domain for sale forum. And I don't think people would discuss matters there.

Well, somehow I give you right. I mean there are certain cctld subforums (.tv and .us), but maybe there should be others too. As I see the .in catching up, and I think there are a lot of NP ers who would be interested in this (including me). Really, I have to go to another forum to learn more about .co.uk, while I would like to stay more at NP.

Yes - the fact there is massive independant fora for .de and .co.uk respectivly do indicate their scale.

One thread on such a forum has just seen a £5k sale within minutes of names being posted - everything alive and well

Extra discussion here would encourage more interested people which would have a knock on effect on the marketplace.

I doubt if a ccTLD discussion forum was created that it would be useful to anyone... The only threads would be like "wut do you think of .idv.tw plox?"

No, I think that there would also be discussions about LLL.co.uk price, translations, and traffic of different cctld's (some have surprisingly big).

Yes, -RJ- and I have started discussion of the possibility of a ccTLD sub forum. Hopefully, that idea will fruit soon enough .
