I knew about this since last year, but was more concerned about getting some to drink that to buy domains.
But maybe i should have lol
Yeah, 22 reported sales this year so far and it's just Feb. CBD sales started around 6 years ago though, according namebio...So if you regged when you knew about it you could have made a profit back then...as well as now...
Almost all on Godaddy, presumably expiring domain auctions bought by resellers since GD do not publish other salses, only one on Sedo and that just $250.00. These do not look like sales to end users, yet.

CBDCandys for 940... Terrible...
And CBDCrude.com for 501...looks like a funny mistake an AI would make (Crude Oil vs oil for skin). Are people using software to register domains or is this just someone who doesn't understand English and is just regging random words associated with "oil"???
CBDcrude was a great buy and I know the person who won. Good purchase!CBDCandys for 940... Terrible...

I was going to ask why but Mr Google has the answer:CBDcrude was a great buy and I know the person who won. Good purchase!
This is the issue with domaining CBD, you guys have to realize that CBD has a whole bunch of unique aspects in the market where people are going to be paying a lot of money for keywords that seem absolutely foreign to anyone not in the industry.
CBDBiomass sold for 5K for instance. Crude is actually the life blood of cbd products, crude oil is the fundamental ingredient purchased for people who want to extract and toll their own CBD end products, etc.
Yeah, I got it already. I wasn't thoroughly researched on the subject, which is why I only regged one domain (EnterpriseCBD - com), so I was associating crude with the petroleum industry.
Hey, live and learn! Only reg domains in industries you are researched in folks. Thankfully EnterpriseCBD still works for the industry, so I'll likely hodl it...
The art of making / using CBD Oil? Why not. A creative solution for probably mainly female consumers of high-end CBD health and beauty products.cbdoil.art
No comparisonmore then Planet ?
It just you know...one of those desperate domains that one will reg without really doing any research. You should change your approach to domaining if you don't want to waste your money. No one will spell it out to you here, because you know...we're all competing for the same keywords that companies use to market, because you know...why would a business owner want to buy a domain with you know...words they don't use in marketing or branding...you know...it's probably a waste of money, but your business bro! But what do I know. I'm not a sheen user...

A lot of English language words get widely used in surprising ways by non-native speakers, who probably seriously outnumber native speakers. I've seen a lot of plurals in -ys, just try googling "partys" - with the quote marks in the query. So cbdcandys might have a bright future. I once got a dropping domain I later realised was not the correct spelling in English, googled it, found my incorrect spelling was vastly more used than the correct one - it was used by non-native speakers for a service and it sold (low xxx).
Maybe cbdcrude was a typo of cbdcrud? But CBDcrudeoil.com is taken! And so is cbdoilslick.com - gives your hair that true CBD sheen.
I don't see someone paying a lot for it aftermarket, if anything, but I could see someone using it.
Try googling inurl:*candys.com
You get a list of active sites - candys.com.au eyecandys.com recandys.com etc etc
