CAX.com - Anyone have experiences with them?

Has anyone had much experiences listing & selling their names with CAX.com? Is it a free membership of you have to pay a monthly/yearly fee to list?

I guess nobody has used CAX before. I saw them on Domaining.com newsletter so thought I'd ask.

They ask you to pay $15 to be able to list up to 10 domain names. I'm a bit annoyed as I found that out AFTER I signed up, there is no mention of it on the sign up page.

Cax is owned by Domaining.com

I signed up with them in 2010 and didn't have to pay $15 to list any names.

Perhaps it was the way I signed up. I first tried Valuate.com as an appraisal tool which valued some of my domain names. When you do this, if there is a value, you can click on a "Sell It" link button. This takes you to Cax, where I listed some names for sale. (They didn't sell)

I have sold a few names on CAX. On every sale, the communication and payment from Francois was very fast. A couple of times I had my money the same day or the day after the sales.

For some reason, I have not sold names in a long time there. Maybe it is the natural result of the increase in the volume of listings on the platform or I have probably not been listing the right names.

Thanks infosec, I signed up for 10$ lifetime and have started listing my names. Do you have your own portfolio page setup? http://domainportfolio.com/2014 you can add whatevers after the / to make it unique
I like it sofar I think sales are slow because of all the new extensions, people are spending their money on them

I did the same, MoMD. But haven't started adding my domains yet.

I got registered at start of this year and added few domains.. Few days back one of my llll.net sold at bin. Cax.com using its own ecop.com as escrow service, the transaction was too fast between the buyer and seller on ecop.com.

Overall It seems good platform..
