Loved it! I think its one of the best Bond films ever! I'm still a huge Sean Connery fan but I have to say Daniel Craig is damn good! He bring an edgy tone to Bond. Anyone else have a chance to see it yet?

Hmm... haven't seen it yet, but I've looked it up on imdb and it looks very promising.

There's also a 1967 bond film with the same name - I'll have to see how I can get my hands on that one too.

I haven't seen that movie but I'll definitely watch it before the end of this month. They said Daniel Craig has surprised a lot of his critic with his awesome performance. :)

Its a very good movie, just saw it a few hours ago, was going to see borat but they didnt let me because some of us who went didnt have ID to prove we were 15 ...and then they tried to charge me for an adult ticket (which you pay at 15) instead of a child one, so I moaned...but thats irrelevant

its a very good film , the starts good because of the filming style (flashbacks/black and white)

I just saw it today. The best Bond Film, I think.

My favourite line:
"That's because you know what I can do with my little finger"

The intro was amazing! I loved the movie. At the end the transition was a bit poor if you know what I mean.

Maybe, but "hahaha the worlds going to know you died itching my balls" was quite good

It was very good, although I was a bit surprised it went on for so long, it seemed like they dragged it out just so it could fit in story-wise with the bond movies they have done before in the 60's (In the bond books, casino royale is the first book, hence the introduction to the movie, you'll know when you see it).

"Opening day estimates in the United States show it on top with $14,750,000. Opening Weekend estimates in the United States put it in second place with $40,600,000,[43] as well as earning another $42 million internationally. In the opening two days, Casino Royale was ahead of Warner Brothers production Happy Feet, though it is believed Happy Feet pulled ahead on the Sunday, actual box office figures haven't been released as of 18:06, 20 November 2006 (UTC), meaning Casino Royale could still dominate the box office."

Considering that the cost of the movie is just about half the cost of Die Another Day, I could say this is one of the most successful James Bond film ever made.

Saw it was waiting for some huge action in the end but none was there. :(

I think the starting sequence was far better then the ending action.

This was actually a spoof of James Bond staring David Niven. Haven't actually seen it, though it was on TV here at the weekend! As with Never Say Never Again, it is not considered an "official" Bond movie.

There's nothing worse than a bad movie, and that's what I was prepared for after the old-style, corny beginning credits and terrible theme song. Much to my delight, this Bond turned out to be terrific. Yeah, there were a couple of holes in the story, but the pace of the movie covered them well...and that first on-foot chase sequence was mind-boggling...the guy Bond was chasing had moves like I've never seen.

The movie moves away from the normal diectorial formula and doesn't include the big, predictable fireball (and got-the-girl) ending, which I appreciated. Respect to the other Bonds, but this movie has qualities the others didn't. I don't buy many DVDs, but I'll buy this one.
