Cash parking question

Ive just registered for a cash parking account with godaddy (my registrar) as ive been getting some good traffic on a fe names so I wanted to see if theyd make anything. Anyway, im pretty new to parking so I have 1 question....

If for example I find an expired domain name with a decent alexa rank, what I tend to do is go to estibot and type it in, then estibot tells me how many visits per day it receives, ive just found on with 80 visits per day but the name isnt anything special....what do I do???

I wouldn't solely rely on Estibot, I would use some other tools as well to check the traffic.

You can check the history of the domain to see what kind of wesbite it was (assuming it was a developed site).

You could check it's links to see get a gauge of the type of traffic that's coming to the domain...

In other words, there are several tools out there, use them before spening money on purchasing a domain name...

Be careful. Most expired domain names that don't have great keywords get their traffic (Check Alexa, not Estibot) from links to the domain from other sites. Once a domain expires, the links slowly start to get removed. Either search engines and directories discover there is no site there any longer or people with sites notice and remove the dead links.

So if you see a domain getting traffic at TDNAM or one that seems to be getting traffic even though it's expired or dropped, that may not be accurate or last.

The other problem is that it can be hard to know what the traffic is looking for, or where it comes from. If you park a domain that is getting traffic for shoes, and you have a parking page about computers, it's not going to work. Or if you have a page with ads that only apply to US customers and your traffic is coming from China, that also may not work.
