budget: above $5000 Cash buyers looking for year-end deals

It is late December. Perhaps you have holiday plans for you and yours, and could use some extra cash. Well, good news, because we have clients that are paying fast cash for the following types of names:

(1) You own the domain free and clear, available to transfer.

The buyers are real, e.g. a 3N.com domain earlier today at $280,000.

This will be an efficient process as the objective for these buyers is to buy until they have converted their cash to eligible domains. Epik will be the escrow agent and will work to turn these quickly.

Total budget is uncapped but the mods want a number so it is capped at $2.5 million through end-December

Quick update:

A worthy $293K deal got done today at Epik with a returning Chinese buyer. There are year-end deals happening. China will be open for business right up until December 31.

All week there has been some very significant dealflow, particularly for a holiday week. I am getting the sense that 2019 is going to go out with some firework.

Why? A lot of folks had a very good year in 2019. Read here:

That is a crap load of capital gain that may be looking for a year-end offset. Keep in mind that buyers can choose to either amortize a domain, e.g. in the USA it is typically over 20 years, but they can also expense.

Also, keep in mind that there are also folks sitting on domains that they paid too much for and need to write down. They can take a lowball sale in 2019, and then write down the loss.
