:hi: Tim here. Its my first post. Nice site.
I have been reading it for days.
I learned a lot.
So, I checked out NameBio. com and the domains that sold the most had capital letters.
Cash.com went for $18,000 and cash.com went for $9,000.
Whats up with that?
I buy lowercase domains, but it might of been a mistake.
Whatca think.
Keep up the great work.
Tim

What do you mean? Domain names are not case sensitive.

Cash.com = cash.com = cAsh.com = the same domain, etc

I really can't tell if this is satire or not - but "case" of a registration does not matter at all...

Nice work, if you're "playing" me ;)

(In short, Allan.com is the same thing as allan.com, or GooGLe.com is the same as googlE.com, etc.)

Maybe it sold on different dates??? Domains are not case sensitive, so Cash.com is cash.com

Either someone did a good job flipping the site in 22 days, or Sedo stuffed up their database (again).

Most likely the latter.

Its very possible a flip occured. I appologize for the confusion in regards to capitalization. In the future, all domains will be lowercase.

Its not enough that ICANN is creating new extensions daily, now they're going to make domains case sensitive? :)

Yes, you must have missed some, because there are 2^4 (=16) possible combinations. :)

Most likely two separate sales. Even though domains are not case sensetive, many of the listing sites will allow entry by case to make them look better. Afternic does this, but I generally see sedo in all lower case. Showing by case makes longer names look better like this.

ThisNameIsEasierToReadWithCAPs.com

thisnameiseasiertoreadwithcaps.COM

it also makes words more distinguishable so that SellersExchange.com doesn't look like SellerSexChange.com even though they are the same domain.
