I have a question regarding acronym domains.

I just picked up a 3 letter domain that consists of all vowels. The domain contains 2 letters because 1 of them repeats (nice hu?)

Anyways, the 3 letters have little to none acronyms.

I am curious what is worth more money based on Domain Name only.

1) VOWEL VOWEL VOWEL (barely any acronyms)
2) RANDOM RANDOM RANDOM (possibly vowel here or there, but tons of acronyms)

Please let me know here or via PM, thanks.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
depends on the extension more than the letter combination,

.info $xx
.net $xxx
.com $x,xxx

The letters are of course important but the extension will also play a big part of the value , above is just a rough example

Thanks but here's my example....

I am curious if...

EUU (3 vowels, repeating letters, barely any acronyms)

is worth more or less than

MPO (1 vowel, no repeating, ton of acronyms)

***these domains are used for examples

Sorry i only glazed over your question , I would want mpo before the other

i guess the secret to LLL acronyms is knowing the enduser when you acquire it, or have your own plan for the name

I really think beauty is in the eye of the beholder so to speak

Some folk will prefer the repeating/double letters

I think MPO is worth more than EUU also. But for me, I wouldn't be too interested if the domains were not .com

All-vowels gets a little domainer attention, but not a lot, same with double letters - a little better, but not much.

Beyond real words, what moves LLL and LLLL.com prices is letter quality and pronouncability. Both add value.

It could also depend on the extension and language(s). The letter frequency is different in every language.
For example W is a good letter in Dutch or Polish, not in French or Spanish.

If the extension is not a strong one, then it's speculation anyway.
