discuss Can you recognize FUN in domain investing?

Surely I'm not alone in seeing fun & joy in brand development and domain investing. Of course, the economic dimension can quickly change this word-game hobby or side business into loss of savings, family despair, clinical depression, eviction from home, financial ruin, etc. Sorry for that.

We can chase dreams of wealth for $10 /year with just one great hand reg domain.

I highly appreciate Namepros.com! But because our individual strategies are sometimes (often?) valuable & proprietary, many of our best insights can't easily be shared. We look at the sales and offerings of others, and must "read between the lines" to see strategy, or we're told "Buy what will Sell" - which seems not much fun.

I imagine future illness, health scare, perhaps a pandemic, where this word becomes more valuable than $10.

Quite different from buying a lottery ticket. Perhaps a form of "workout" as I used a suite of skills and tools to find, register, and list the new property.

I'll need to stay alive to reap the benefits, if any, from my foresight. I share here knowing my minor news might generate positive or negative reaction on reading this. Normally, I'd not open windows on my strategies.
