From Godaddy domain manager, I can see the Afternic column but have not found any way to list domains.

Yes, it is a Beta feature, some days it appears in my GD account, some days it does not. Sometimes logging out and logging back in makes it reappear. But it is way more convenient than Afternic, shows GD value estimates, allows bulk edits - far superior to Afternic.

Why not make it easy for Godaddy customers? I'm surprised.

Didn't the beta start during Namescon 2018, which is a year ago?

Hi only started using it a few months ago, don't know.

You can see the switch to Beta option top right, if available to you.

Important: the blue strip you see below listing possible operations will ONLY appear AFTER you select one or more domains. Real PITA trying to find it again another time.

Can you specify to use Fast Transfer? I added BIN and Floor prices to my domains but when I checked my Afternic account they had the status of "No (Opt-in Required)". Have you had such situation?

to make it appear without logging back in you just have to go to main home page, and click the top left corner arrow by the GoDaddy logo , to select language and Country, not sure why but its the English United states that always has the beta available.

As for pricing I will WARN you and read this to know, you still have to log into Afternic after to correct the minimum bid offer, as it will auto put it at a very high amount depending on your bin price. but maybe there is a way around this im unaware of. ..

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ALSO @Joe Styler if you place one price on your Godaddy Auction Listings , then put a different price on your Afternic Listings, the Afternic will over ride for the price an enduser sees when searching on the homepage of Godaddy ( random listings )

I have called and emailed, emails are being ignored.

why do I want this ? , I wish for min bid/offer to show for the average buyer on GD listings via their homepage, and want a higher BIN for Afternic fast trasnfer marketing. I now get screwed out of this.

I was told if you post for listing on GD market first , then list to beta afternic that the afternic will not override godaddy homepage search prices. this is a 50/50 on what does and what does not.

I spent many days trouble shooting, this will be the first of MANY forms of ranting and contact till resolved. I dont bug often, I tried to figure this out , I can not, please assist @Joe

Have not really checked this but I suspect they make you wait 60 days after listing - I get sporadic emails long after listing asking me to approve Fast Transfer. I can see I have GD domains at Afternic with and without Fast Transfer enabled. But best to ask them, and they may not even be sure themselves how it works.

Afternic seem to have little interest in fixing problems. An email on a topic they don't understand or won't fix screws up their support performance stats and targets since it takes time and generates more emails, worsening the stats.

Post in the Afternic bugs thread, then bill them for your time and advice.

The system isn't designed to do what you are trying to do. So they are trying to give you a work around, but it isn't going to work all the time because it's a work around not the way it is supposed to work.
You should be able to list your domain at GoDaddy and then at Afternic and the GoDaddy listing should trump the Afternic listing because when Afternic tries to list at GoDaddy it will see there is already a listing and ignore it. But there are a lot of moving parts, so depending on when the feeds are updated and the databases etc it may not work that way. Because the opposite is also true, if you try and list a domain on the auction on GoDaddy that is already listed there by you via Afternic the system will see that and ignore you or throw an error because the domain is already listed.
Bottom line is you are trying to do something that isn't how we designed it to work. We designed it to work via Afternic and are moving more and more towards that listing type for various reasons.
It is easier to list in one place and manage in one place and have those listings filter to the various sales channels automatically. I understand you might not like the price difference or how domains show up for sale but we are unlikely to change that. Our main goal is to help you sell domains and we do extensive testing to see which messaging, price point, User interface, User Experience, etc sells the most domains.
The data we have backs up what we do. Unless you sell your domains we don't make any money so we are going to continue to make changes that help you sell the most names and not allow updates that we feel from the data sell less domains.

I hear what you say, I appreciate the explanation, and you don't have to feel obligated to respond to the following, but I would like to voice my logic , and why this will be a strong push away for me. once again..

Godaddy home page search engine gets a great amount of your average every day end user searches. also creating a low make offer listing provides me with some after thought decision once a bid is placed, domainers often sway on what pricing is best. I highly prefer having a low in bid on GD to attract all levels of end users.

Afternic ONLY allows fast transfer and extensive exposure with BIN.

I get ZERO advantage over regging elsewhere , than well that is what will be done. l Im just a small cat, so again thanks for the response, its unfortunate as I have put a ton of thought into the benefit of such pricing.

I don't understand how registering somewhere else will help you. It may only hurt you. By that I mean if you list your domains on the auction at GoDaddy now and they are registered with us we know you own them, that makes it a lot easier for us to give them some priority. If you register your domains at another registrar you can list them at GoDaddy auctions and Afternic (as long as they are a partner registrar Afternic works with). But now if we have two separate listings coming in for the same domain at the very least you are going to have to prove ownership each time, at the worst you're going to have more headaches trying to list both ways because again the system isn't designed for this. The headaches will result from additional lead time for listing names registered elsewhere which will further complicate the moving parts scenario I described above.

Your best bet is to cancel all your listings at Afternic, list the domains for sale on Godaddy, wait a couple days and then list at Afternic again. That should work for you most of the time to do what you are trying to do.

Wow, that worked. Thanks so much for that - saved me hours of messing around trying to make the beta interface come back.

No problem, it was literally a nightmare for me months ago being so new and support refused to open a ticket. lets share this simple workaround fix for others to avoid.
