I've not specifically received GoDaddy Auctions payments via Payoneer before, but here are some general issues to consider:
If you mean Payoneer's PayPal-like peer-to-peer payment service, it's a definite NO.
If you mean Payoneer's GLOBAL PAYMENT SERVICE (previously US PAYPYMENT SERVICE, aka US VIRTUAL BANK ACCOUNT) then the answer is a MABYE.
First, from the GoDaddy side of the pond: the payment option available to you (PayPal, bank account, etc) depends on your in your GoDaddy account.
And from the other side of the pond,
Payoneer's Global Payment Service has strict country and currency restrictions: deposits must be local within the
same country as the account, in the
same currency, and must come
from a company (not individuals).
Wire transfers are not accepted at all.
For instance, in my Payoneer account, I have the following five virtual bank accounts:
- two "USD receiving accounts" with routing numbers that can only receive ACH transfers in US Dollars from US local banks,
- a "GBP receiving account" that can only receive BACS and Faster Payments Service transfers in Pound sterling from UK local banks,
- a "JPY receiving account" that can only receive Zengin System transfers in YEN n from Japanese local banks,
- and a "EUR receiving account" that can only receive SEPA transfers in EURO from EU local banks.
I don't know if these are the only countries and currencies available to all Payoneer users, or even if all users have the same accounts and currencies as I do (I've had my Payoneer account for 10+ years and have pushed quite a lot of business through it).
Again, note that wire transfers and currency conversions are not supported at all.
So, one critical thing to know is where the funds are originating from and by what means, and that's something you'll need to clarify with GoDaddy. Don't assume GoDaddy will necessarily be sending funds from the US in and US$: I live in Ghana, and my Google AdSense cheque comes from
Google Ireland Limited and in Euros.
Good luck!
