What I was wondering is.
Could someone who knows a certain extension is coming out manipulate the system by building some sort of site in the years before the releases in order to apply and secure a certain domain during sunrise period?
Say i wanted yoga.guru but didn't want to pay the 14k or whatever to get first shot at it. So i built a site yogaguru.co or .ca or .info etc. Could i then apply for the name in sunrise?
Or say i TM the word Ire and build a site in order to secure Ire.land during sunrise etc.
Just curious if there are laws that prevent this or if this is something the pros do?
