I want to publish some 'related news' on my site (about some selected keywords) in the same format as GoogleNews or Digg.com does, where first 2-3 lines of news are shown and link to original site is provided for detail readout.

Can i use RSS feeds to implement the above? - I know some RSS feeds have even complete articles but I will limit publishing of first 1-2 lines only and leave the original link for detail reading. But before I proceed I want to know what I want to do is legal? Any restrictions? Issues?

Please help

Regards

"But before I proceed I want to know what I want to do is legal? Any restrictions? Issues? " I spent a lot of time experimenting with this. There are many different feed readers available that can do what you ask.It is possible to link or unlink to rss source. If you read terms of service most feeds are provided for non commercial use so that way anytime they want they can yank your feed or take legal action. If you have a ad on your site that is commercial if they want to look at it that way. That said ;most look other way since you are promoting their content and providing a back links. One thing that may attract problems IMHExperience is not linking or labeling feed source and using feeds from software company that has M for first letter.Gman has a API required reader in many formats which is nice if you use it on your own site because there are no ads required like all of the free rss widgets you usually see.
