On what platform are you negotiating that seller can refuse to close negotiation after potential buyer has rejected an offer? Not clear what is going on. You have an asset that looks to have been developed before the obvious lead for a sale so it looks like you are good in the TM area but 80k seems really steep though.
It was just mistakeIf potential buyer did not counter the 80k and ended negotiation then best strategy in my view is just to just say "thanks for your interest" and not lower the price. If their last offer was 1800 and they rejected 80k without a counter then where exactly would you counter a non-offer? 60k? 50k? 40k? What if buyer rejects all the lowered offers without a counter? You probabaly just need to sit on your hands till this buyer comes back with something higher.
