So as suggested I have hung around this forum and read posts done some research. I do have a few questions I think to get me started in the right direction and to be sure to clear things up in my path.

I can buy my domain name on say godaddy ( i'm sure there is tons of others as I have seen through my research).

However to sell my domain name, I have to go on different websites?

No. You can list it on Gadaddy.com.

You can also list it at Afternic.com which will automatically also list it on godaddy.com.

To sell the domain you can sll it here at namepros, sedo, flippa, godaddy auction...

You don't have to go to other websites to sell it but it will increase your chances of selling the domain name.

And those websites you mention, I can buy domains on those sites as well or they are strictly for selling?
