Hi

Sorry if this has been answered already (pretty sure it will have been) but my searches here haven't found an answer.

Anyway, I have a couple of domain names that I'll be selling soon that were originally purchased for a couple of projects that I no longer have time for.

The strength of the domains (in my opinion) is in the domain name not existing traffic (as there is little to none of that).

My question is: Are there things that you should do to make the sale more appealing to buyers - I'm tempted to put up a basic site on the domains but that kind of leads the domain down the direction I was going to take rather than the direction a buyer may want to take if that makes sense.

So, if the strong point of the domain is the name, is it best to have a blank site or a skeleton/suggested site (or a "this domain is for sale" type page)?

As I say, apologies if this has been asked/answered before

Thanks
Martin

Honestly from how your describing the situation, I would make a page proclaiming "this domain is for sale!!". It keeps the focus on the domain name and not content. Plus more than likely, you'd spend more time developing a dummy site with negative effects to the price of your site than just keeping it with selling strictly the domain name. Also i wouldn't go with a blank page, again psychologically it could be counter productive for profits from your domain. Just my two cents :)

Also check out this thread, seems like a legit idea of a landing page for making offers on a domain name.
