Buydomains - How much do they drop?

I have my eye on a domain owned by buydomains.com, does anyone have any idea on how much they usually drop the price to with a bit of negotiation?

Eg if they say $3,000 are they likely to go to $1000 with negotiation, or do they say near the asking price.

The price they are quoting me is seriously silly.

I requested a price on HudHousing.com many wks ago..
Never rec'd a reply.

Then, just yesterday, I rec'd an email from them, that they had lowered their $3900 price down too a low $3400.

I was primarily curious as too their asking price of the.com, as I am the .net owner.

I think i may have answered my own question I found this on their site:

'How can I put in a bid or counter offer for a price I was quoted?
BuyDomains.com doesn't accept bids or counter offers. If you are not satisfied with the quoted price, you are probably out of luck. BuyDomains.com is not a domain auction and buyers are not expected to negotiate. The asking price is a fixed one-time price.'

Are these guys serious, the prices they quote are crazy. Has anyone managed to negotiate or an i wasting my time?
