.us BuyandSell.us Sells for $5500

I like to see this especially, phrases not just generics that we all know are worth big money. I mean I know business.us or food.us or poker.us is a big $$$ name but a phrase like buy and sell is usually something we see sell in .com (I know the .com would have went for more) But usually I see phrases sell for like $100 or $200. Personally I Own faster.us that I think would do well as a .com But not as .us but if more of the second tier names and phrases start selling for more in .us gives a lot more names the chance to sell for x,xxx IMO

Well, buyandsell.us has lots of commercial potential. Does faster.us? Not really if you ask me. There are actually lots of single dictionary word .us names available, or easily acquired via backorder - because they are just not that valuable. No offense of course. faster.us is a cool name, but it just doesn't have much commercial potential if you ask me. Maybe to an end user who absolutely has to have it for some reason, but that's it ...

I truly don’t want to seem like I’m tooting my on horn but for all of us who are seriously dedicated to the .us extension (I believe some of my best domains are in this underrated namespace) I think we’re starting to see our commitment to this namespace that I think will become one of the more fast to grow in the near future come to fruition.

Excellent, I’m fairly sure in late 2006 to early 2007 we will see an enormous growth for this namespace.

Ds ABsolutely buy and sell is much better than faster I agree I did not mean to imply that it was I meant it was a second or third tier name that I thought was worth very little but maybe with more and more sales that take place in .us besides the premium generics it could fetch a better price than say $50. I have always looked at a lot of phrases and the .us available that would sell in the .com but Never regged them figuring that the .us sales have really been the strong generics although I did sell Pkr.us for $500 as some end user went on a buying spree buying every one, pkr.org he paid $5500 this will be for a poker site. I have focused on lll.us and have a couple other .us but now I may reg some more in areas that I like such as ****tv.us since tv names are a niche I focus on I never regged a .us ONly names like SIX.tv or BritishTv.org or eighttv.com but I regged sexytv.us and talktv.us because they were available in .us only. DB if you are reading your opinion on the ****tv.us please.

Looks like .us finally picking up hope everyone does well.
