Hi guys,
Wondered if you could help me out...
I am currently looking to transfer my business' domain names from the hugely unreliable 1&1 to a new registrar. I do not need any features other than the domain registration itself, as I already have hosting to cover web space and e-mail.
I have looked at three possible alternatives: Register.com, Dotster and Moniker, but would be open to other suggestions.
I really like the Register.com interface and the fact that it is arguably the most major registrar (besides Network Solutions, who I shall never do business with again!) sways me towards registering it there. The domains are HUGELY important as I am running an internet business and therefore cannot afford to lose them! With Sony.com being registered with Register.com, for example, I am tempted to transfer to them. Their customer service is said to be top-class.
Although Moniker is apparently very secure, the interface is not as polished and there are more domains (especially those of well-known businesses) registered with Register.com. Dotster, on the other hand, seem to offer a more acclaimed service than Register for less. I'm confused!
PRICE IS IRRELEVANT.
Who is the BEST registrar, when price is not an issue, for my business' domain names?
Thank you for your help - I really appreciate it.
