Bulk domain name visitor statistic?

Hi, Im not a newbie, but have a newnie question.

I have around 4-500 domainnames or something like that.

I don't like parking, so none of my domains are parked. And I don't want to park them either.

My problem is that I don't have any idea of visitor statistic for my domains.

I know there is Google Analytics and all that, but they have restrictions on how many domain names I can add, and also it is really irritating to add domain names each one by one.

So my question is, where do you get visitor statistic for your domain names? is there a server-side bulk domain name statistic script or something like that, which I only need to install on the server, and then all my domain names automaticly collect visitor statistic, without me to activate it. Because I don't want to do it one by one.

So I hope you can help me out, where I can find such a script or whatever it is.

help me to understand the logic in what you seek, vs what you are doing or don't want to do.

it's like saying, i want to know how much money i could make from the traffic i receive... if i could only find a way to count the visitors.

you know of a way, yet that's not an option....though it's the easiest, and has immediate potential to earn you some cash in the process.

LOl sorry if what I wrote was confusing.

I try simplify what I need.

1. I have a lot of domain-names, some I am developing, some I intend to sell.

2. I don't want to park them. (I know this would solve my statistic problem, but I really dislike parked domain-names, so thats not an option). And I don't care if I'm not moneytizing the domain-names, by only putting one-paged "Under Construction"-page on them.

3. I want visitor statistic for each domain-name. Not to use it to anything specific or moneytize it, but just to know how many visitors each domain-name has. I'm just curious.

4. Because of the amount of domain-names, I dont want to manually put some "code" on each "Under Construction"-page on each domain-name. I'm looking for some kind of server-based-statistic, I only need to install on my VPS-server, and then - Kazaaam - it will be on all the domain-names I have on that server, without me to manually do anything per domain-name.

Does something like that exist (I guess it does, but where do I find it?).

And what do you guys use? I am sure many in here has much more domain-names then I have, so what statistic do you use? Do you use the statistic supplied by where you park the domain-names? or Google Analytics?

I don't want to use park services and the problem with Google Analytics is, I have to do it per domain-name, and there is a limit to how many domain-names I can add.

I hope this will clarify what I want.

Again, Im not trying to moneytize it by counting visitors or something like that, I am just curious to know how many and who visits each domain-name.

k, your answer is fair enough



if you want, you can forward all your domain names to mine


and i will tell you how many visitors i get from your domains




or you can reg a domain at directnic ($15yr w/free hosting and stat counter) and forward all your other domains to that one.


or find another registrar that offers free stat counter and do same as above.


or you can put adsense on all your domains and get stats from G

And wont forwarding the domain-names just show the total visitor statistic? I want to be able to see for each domain-name.

Is there a way to do it through the nameserver? All my domain names use the same nameserver and hosted at a VPS-erver I pay for.

What I seek is really something like Google analytics where I can see a list of domain-names and their statistic on one page. But the thing with GA is that I have to input the code manually on each domain-name and they also limit how many domain-names I can add.

If anybody in here knows how to write a script or whatever, which is able to show visitor statistic collected through the nameserver, I am willing to pay for such a script.

Why not forward all your domains to one domain and put google analytics on it. It will probably tell you which domain each forwarded visitor comes from so you could track that way. But I've never used analytics this way so I'm not sure. Worth a try though.

I actually thought about that, but was not sure if the domains would be affected negatively in a SEO kind of way if I did a redirection? so i decided against it.

Anybody knows if the SEO of the domains will be affected in the future by redirecting the domains to one domain? Will Google "blacklist" it in some way?

When I later on are going to use the domains or maybe sell them, I don't want them to have a negative "history" og have them blacklisted, end-users takes these kind of thoughts in considaration before they bid on a domain. And it will definietly effect the value of the domains, if they have bad history. I think.

When you park a domain name from SEDO parking,You'll see an options:

Name Server Forwarding

Primary Server Name: NS1.SEDOPARKING.COM
Secondary Server Name: NS2.SEDOPARKING.COM

if you change your domains Name Server to SEDO parking Server,

all parking domains shows Http Header detail as below:

Http/1.1 200 OK

200 is a normal status,IT Doesn't Matter ,still search-engine friendly.

if you are using URL Forwarding for your domain name to parking pages.

Then the "Http Header" shows difference between a Registry and a Registrar.

examples:

Namecheap shows Http/1.1 302 Moved Temporarily
NETFIRMS shows

Http/1.1 200 OK

302 redirects :search-engine unfriendly
