JayT Restricted (85-100%) Impact 901 100% 21 Feedback May 3, 2016 #2 Most people have never heard of .WS, but most people don't know there are 1000 new domain extensions neither. Almost all of them are very stupid, stuff like .accountant, .pizza, and .online. These long extensions are no good except with maybe a few keywords in front. .WS is very generic and as I said above, google ranks it as a generic too! If you were serious about starting a blog, "rant.ws" is a serious domain, people will remember that! Of course there are alternatives, such as myrantblog.com (you MIGHT be able to register something like that...) or paying $1,000s for another .com domain. Honestly, no need. "rant.ws" is a key to a successful site b/c memorability. Just like all of them, 4 letters, like "mage.ws", who knows, maybe a chat bot, brand it 'the mage'. None have bids yet, and at .02 btc (~$9) I will be very sorry to let them go! I have spent a lot of time with domains and even though there are 1000 extensions, few work well like .WS. The shortness and ease of associating it with a good meaning (website) has more value than you probably think. These domains could sell for 1,000-10,000 each within the next few years as more of asia and india get online. If these were .coms they would be worth over 1,000,000 a piece today! Honestly doing you a favor by offering you these domains below $500, imo. .WS registry, website.ws reserves shorter domains for premium pricing. I think the 3 letter domains cost 300-500 each. If you have any specific questions you can ask on the auction listings, and I will give you lots more advice there too, if you need. If you want to see another of my sites look at meow.ws.
