I'd have to say yes. Even if your company is good, BS-anyhting is opening the door to negativity. It's common for the letters to be treated like that.

Sorry, but I have to agree based on past experience. When anything in a word/phrase has "BS" stand out, I assume that it is a negative connotation by nature.

I agree with everyone that BS will probably be made fun with.

Maybe you can go with your full initials.. B_S(Keyword).com?

Or just use your last name only.

If you're asking, you already know the answer IMHO.

GreenGambler's idea is pretty good. :)

Yup I wouldn't recommend it. It definitely would devalue the name of the business.

I thought about using all three initials (which would actually be _BS) but you know.. the shorter the better. This would actually be for a domain registrar, so not having something like BSNames.com would be a good thing. I'm open to suggestions and will rep+ and send np$60 if I use someone's suggestion.

Careful -- If your registrar is slow/support tickets are slow/unfair pricing etc. then you'll risk being pretty much known as the "Bullshit Registrar." Not only would it tarnish your brand, ppl might get the term confused and think you're affiliated with RegisterFly.

Or if you do a really great job, BSnames will be quite a hit and easy to remember for your clients. :D

Just use your first or last name with the keyword, such as bobsreg or smithnames. Good luck!

I thought about using my last name, but due to the phoenetics of it, it can be spelled a lot of ways. Sumers, Somers, Summers, Sommers, etc..

But remember that the second the site takes a misstep, you'll risk being dragged through the mud and there are some things water can't wash away. The entire brand would be at risk.
