Brrrrrr it's cold!

Here in Pittsburgh, it's currently -10° F with the wind chill (0° without)...this is pretty much the coldest I've ever seen it here, and right now I'm really starting to appreciate the heat from my laptop! :hehe:

Anyone else being affected by this cold front?

Oh my heck ... in New Hampshire it is Frreeeeezzzzing cold! 13°, but with the wind it feels like -2°! :o

It's supposed to get colder overnight, too ... but may not get as bad as the two days we had earlier last week (6° / -15° and 8° / -10° / both days were wicked windy)!!

I'll trade you guys weather, it was down around -30 below with the windchill this morning and the temperature was below zero all day. The low tonight is suppose to be around -12 and the windchill around -24. This is about the 3rd day we've had brutal temperatures, but tomorrow is suppose to be 6 so will seem like a heat wave.

I don't mind cold weather, but this is way too cold. I live in the midwest, but you'd think it was Alaska by the way it feels outside.

I was lazy and didn't move my car since saturday morning, wen't down this morning to a frozen battery, nothing like pulling out a frozen battery in -25 windchill, brought it inside and threw it on a charger for an hour or two and then put it back in and it fired right up, my own fault for not starting the car in almost 2 days, superbowl and being lazy to blame, but it's definitely cold when you shake a new battery and hear absolutely no form of liquid inside, this cold weather has been in chicago for a few days and appears it will stick around for a few more.

Almost all the schools here have been closed because it's to cold for the kids to stand at the bus stop.....yet when I was in I remember having to go when it was -20 F. Back in 94 my high school and 3 other schools were the only ones open in the county that day. I goto school and almost no teachers showed up and the schools heat went out so I was there for about 10 minutes and said F-This and drove back home and went back to bed.

It was -16F WITHOUT windchill in Minneapolis yesterday morning. I walked a block from my car to work and my face was frozen. It was the coldest day I could remember in a long, long time.
