BREAKING NEWS

Only hours ago, Former Pakistan Prime Minister and Candidate for the next Pakistani election, Benazir Bhutto was assassinated.
This news doesn't come as a surprise, even Bhutto knew that her life was in danger. There is already blame on the current Pakistani government headed by Pervez Musharraf for the attack and assassination of Bhutto.

Was watching it as it all happened today, spent 2 hours watching events unfold, Felt very strange. What a shame yet again politics and religions cause sad events like this.

Thoughts have to be with her family and all the other innocent people that died by this sad event.

I'm most worried about the conflict and violence that this might cause,

RIP the innocent victims.

It was going to happen sooner or later.
Let's just hope for the country's sake that the elections go ahead.
To not hold them would be a victory for those who will stop in nothing to prevent democracy from taking hold. (IMO)

Thanks for the update.

Btw, here is my prediction. I believe this will start a real civil war in Pakistan.

There is more to worry about rather than a civil war. The news here in the UK are portraying the current government as people who support the Taliban.

With such talk going about it could end up another country being tampered with.

I am incredibly troubled by this. She was an incredible woman and she would have done so much good in Pakistan. It really breaks my heart. I am hoping that this gives the people of Pakistan even more cause for democracy and to get rid of all those al-Qaida/Taliban cowards.

Just watching the news now of her funeral procession, al quieda have apparently claimed the assasination of benazir bhutto!!

Seems very strange that she will buried in the temple that she had built for her father and 2 brothers, all died in very strange circumstances.

Thats real sad & tragic happening in the history of Pakistan. RIP Benazir. The unrest and violence has already started. Number of trains, cars, petrol stations, banks have been set on fire. I'm not sure what will happen to this country. God bless Pakistan..!!
