With at-cost registration, renewal and transfer fees too at AtomEdge, I guess this could result in quite a few sellers moving their portfolios.
Quick analysis
$4,999 - $10,000 has a 10% commission difference ($500-$1k savings)
$50,000-$7,4999 range has a 5% difference. 5% here represents $2,500 - $3,750. A sig sum of money.
>$75k names save no less than $1,875.
No Afternic cross marketing allowed for BB listings. So a switch to Atom not only saves $$$, but you can use that money to cross list on Afternic at +10%.
Plus you get a 40% revenue share on expired names that sell.
Too much of a difference for names priced in these ranges for them to stay on Brandbucket.
Even if you like BB, the smart play is to only leave names priced <$4,999 with them.
All the rest should move to Atom (unless they modify commission levels in response).
