BrandableKeyword.com v. Keyword.co (or any other exotic extension)

What would you rather have:

A BrandableKeyword.com

or

Keyword.co or me/ca/mx/ws/ag/etc.

To help you get a better idea let's say its StockMarketWow.com vs. StockMarket.ws

Something like that

Personally I am not a fan of the .co extension.

In most cases I would most likely get a brandable .com before a .co, but before that I would prefer to go for an exact match .net or even .org, depending on the niche.

Personally I would stick to the top extensions unless you are trying to target some specific geo area.

This is just my opinion, others might vary.

The only reason I would be interested in a .CO is for resale, and the vast majority of premium keywords were off the market months before open registration began.

Developing a .CO will just lead to consumer confusion, and traffic bleed IMO.

I would develop a more recognized, credible gTLD like .NET/.ORG, or respected ccTLD far before any .CO

For resale I would rather have a domain like Music.co, for development I would prefer a domain like RocketMusic.com, as the cost is much lower and .COM is the global recognized brand.
