Brand New Freelance Blog - Custom Theme

Hey everyone, just wanted to get some opinions on my new blog. It's a freelancing blog, the logo says it all.

Freelance Storm | How to get clients, increase business and more

I want comments on the entire theme, including the inner pages, category pages, ect. What do you like and not like about it? I want this to be the best blog I've made so far, so I want it to be perfect. Your opinions will help me do that!

Note (off-topic): The monthly subscribers thing doesn't work (next to the ad). If anyone can point me in the right direction using FeedBurner's Awareness API (a site that actually shows you how to use it, haven't found one yet), that would be great. Thanks.

Hi Jared,

To me, it seems a littl plain and dull. I personally don't like gray, so I would remove that from your header and opt for a deep blue gradient Header
With your logo I would then make the text white, and shorten the slogan to "how to get clients and increase buisness" it's much more snappy and to the point.
Loose the storm icon, nice idea but it's not been pulled off the the best, I think loose the raind and the cloud and play more on just the ligtning bolt.
The actual content I find hard to navigate, my eyes don't know where to go, as everything is white and blends together, try adding more defined content areas.

It's not terrible but it isn't great either,

Thank you for your honest review, it will help me in developing the blog futher. I am going to take your advice on redesigning the header and the logo, I did feel that was the bad part of the whole thing.
