Eventized, easy choice for a pure brandable, but FullVenue is the best if you want a 2-word..

Like others have mentioned, there are drops every day with "Event" in them that might be better.

I voted for FullVenue, my 2nd choice would be EventBlitz.

Eventized is nice too but if you decide to go with this one I think you'll also need to get Eventised as well.

Not wishing to sound over critical but as I opened this post and just the list appeared (not the poster) My first thoughts were . OK another newbie using a survey to highlight his recent entry into the domain market. I'm not going to vote for any because I think you can do far better by just a low to reasonable spend in the after-market

    Great input here from many.

The target audience is of course mainly to the business owners who may need a platform on which to collect personal info and payment for people who book.

As we are domainers, we also WANT people to have their own domains, so the platform should be designed to federate using booking widgets that run on your own site.

So, if you own ABC.com, we don't really need to send you to a site where you can book 10 other things. It should be painless to let folks book right on your site.

The key for consumers is (1) secure and efficient transaction processing, (2) central dispute resolution, and (3) convenience of having saved preferences.

In other words, the experience should be federated but interoperable. This is the opposite of EventBrite, OpenTable and similar centralized models.

Add the overlay of being able to settle in crypto, and we have a candidate for a booking platform for the Decentralized internet but still using domain names as brand identifier.

    OK. I understand, it's a B2B proposition, really as a facilitator.
Are you looking for suggestions or available names for sale.

Your really looking for a key word (plus a second or variation of spelling) to ecapsulate that service provision. I don't think the word 'Events' in your choices is the key word for such a service.

Of your choices, I would have thought 'Tictronic' portrays the simplicity of a service add-on to. though of course there's a obvious variation that is already taken 'Ticktronic' and probably the better spelling.

Ticktronic is just parked. Secure that one along with a redirect for 'Tictronic', and I think that's your man. Not forgetting it also opens up nicely for other services in the future

The pitch is mainly a B2B pitch. After all, it is mainly the business owners which are the ones who are apparently frustrated with the status quo.

The benefit to the consumer is that we intend to give them decentralized control over their personal info, i.e. so that only the consumer and booking agent need to know who is coming to your event. We don't need "Big Brother" constructing behavioral profiles of us based on our activities. That is part of why decentralization is inevitable.

Speaking more broadly, the winner-take-all centralized platforms have abused market power through high fees and self-serving use of consumer data. Decentralization and Federation is a logical response to that.

Our recently released Us.Tv is a YouTube alternative built on decentralized PeerTube framework. Gab.com, an Epik client, recently ported to Mastodon, which is another decentralized federation. This is really good news for domainers because you can have local branding, but with convenience and interoperability.

In other words, the Decentralized Internet is not just about "Blockchain". I see a lot more evidence of consumer uptake of federations than I do Ethereum dApps, for example. That should tell you something about where the puck is going.

Just brainstorming some possible brandables that use the Event prefix, and let me tell you, it's not easy. Names I thought no one would register are registered.

    eventicize.com
    eventived.com
    eventioner.com
    eventioneer.com

If I was planning this as a pure brandable and had a few bucks, I would look into:

    eventive.com

That's a catchy name that seems to be available but I have no idea how it costs or whether it would give your venture value.I see some companies use it on non-.COM for tickets and festivals, but not what you're looking at.

Then again, eventived.com is available. :xf.grin:

I chose FullVenue because I had to make a choice from the names above. Nevertheless, I have EventSlip.com for tickets/ booking events online. Goodluck as you search for the right name.

I proposed Eventoro.com (not a domain I own). If I had to choose from the above I would say FullVenue.com

All the negative Nancy's here saying none of the names are any good yet virtually no one is putting forth his or her own super duper names. Why...because they don't have any that fit. Try to work on the positive side of life and leave the sour grapes to the half *ss pretentious wanna be wineries popping up everywhere...whew, now I need a nap.

Why focus on the word event when you can get 5Ls that are unique, pronounceable, and catchy?Unless you can get the best that is there, I believe brandable 5Ls will actually stand out.

I like Tictronic.com but you'd probably want the Tiktronic AND Ticktronic spellings (due to radio test, etc) so you do not lose that traffic. Ultimately I think FullVenue.com wins though.

My thoughts are that's exactly why that's a good reason NOT to use it. Good of you to look it up, but that one being used is a superior 'Way around' to the reverse proposed

I can help you by process of elimination:

Eventized - how do you say that? Event-ized or Even-tized? Eventize would be better.
EventsAngel - stay away from plurals in the first word. It would be better sounding as "EventAngel" or "AngelEvents".
EventZee - a word starting with a "Z" right after a word ending with a "T" is awkward to say. It can also be confused with eventzy or eventsy.
Tictronic - sounds too techy . Better name for a B2B business than B2C.

A client got booted from EventBrite, so you will build an alternative service as an Epik offering? You're on fire with launching new platforms.

I voted for Tictronic that felt modern to me although after reading @Ategy.com excellent post the case for FullVenue is very strong. I also like EventBlitz quite a bit as it too feels positive and energetic.

Several rubbed me the wrong way including EventsAngel, EventZee and EventCasa.

Thanks for giving us the opportunity to express opinions @Rob Monster. Best wishes for your venture.

I voted for FullVenue from this batch (not mine).. it is the clearest in my opinion of the several options presented in this batch above, and seems to be the best for describing the type of attributes the site would offer.. full representing more ways to pay, more events without censorship, etc...

In response to this, if you're still open to additional names, I'd propose the following which is mine and think would be fitting & clear in this case.. VenueLand.com

looking forward to hearing the end results, and your final pick, good luck!
