I have the domain blog.gy .... bloggy?

Are blogs still all the rage nowadays, would it be worth developing in to a blog website?

what do the renewal fees for .gy run ?

I'm sure whatever they are will be insignificant compared to the value of the domain.

Last year I tried to reg about 10 domains that were available, and the guy told me at the phone they are taken. Some months later another NP member bought the same domains I wanted (they were available).

Regarding the blog.gy, the Guyana market is non-existant, as a domain hack it is good but not excellent, anyway, I think from a reseller POV, you might sell it for more.

I wouldn't say any Guyanan markets are non-existant.

However yes I wanted it primarily for the domain hack in that instance. I would say that it is better than BLO.GS... and that site got bought out by yahoo.

I hope to develop the others that I have got too!

Ditto- same happened to me.
Just means I will never buy a .gy ever. Serious, if someone offered me sex.gy for $1 I'd say no. I flat-out refuse to aid this extension in any way at all.

Extension aside, blog.xx is always a nice name- if I had it I would probably put WordpressMU on it.

Visiting the registrar website, I realized I've contacted them trying to register Casino.gy (which is in your sig now) last time but they never got back to me.
