domain Black Friday Updates .com (& Update)

These look like no muss no fuss, straightforward, relevant names. Easy to remember. Are these a couple of 'swings and misses', or could they be a decent hit?

Obviously these names would go with the busy holiday shopping season kickoff day... the day after Thanksgiving Day.

Would not waste my money or time on any domain that is so time specific.

There is a crap ton of competition for this exact thing, it's unlikely you could develop this into being profitable.

You can't transfer it, you're a few weeks late for this year for this niche, it would never get indexed in time to be relevent if you developed it right now. No value here, i'm afraid.

So would "Christmas.com" be a waste of time? I say that because the above names would not only be good for that day, but for weeks leading up to that day... I know because my wife keeps telling me deals she is seeing for weeks leading up to that day. :P

Also, I wouldn't suggest a new site. But are the names better than many of the names being used? In other words, do the names themselves have value? What would they be worth if there was a site that had a lesser name?

As mentioned earlier, you're too late for this year (it will take a few weeks for Google/Bing to index your site).

Now if it is something you want to develop, there's no better time than now to get started on next year! You could try to market it as a "deal of the day" site during the majority of the year, and really target black friday deals during October/November.

Well the one person that said it was a waste of time, actually said it was a waste of THEIR time. So no need to discuss the relevence of "christmas.com" - some people specalize in seasonal sites and make a lot of money doing it. Some people stay far away.
